Not many know but my dad was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer. He had surgery in February and from what I hear, the surgery was a success but as you know with cancer, there is always a chance the cancer can come back.

My dad is a school teacher at Waxahachie HS and owns Cross Martial Arts Center in Midlothian, TX. One of his students, Annette started a team for Relay for Life called Cross Martial Arts Cruisers.

I’ve never donated to the Relay for life but it hit close to home this year after finding about my dad. I know I ask every year for the March of Dimes but I’m asking once again, please donate to this cause. Hopefully one day we will finally have a cure for cancer.
